Curriculum

Course duration is 5 months. We start you with the basic level through the intermediate to the advanced level.

Level 1: Basic Mobile Phone Repair (Beginners)

Duration: 4–6 weeks
Objective: Build foundational knowledge and hands-on skills.

1. Introduction to Mobile Phones

• History and evolution of mobile phones
• Types of mobile phones (feature phones, smartphones)
• Mobile phone operating systems (Android, iOS, others)

2. Tools and Equipment

• Introduction to hand tools (screwdrivers, tweezers, etc.)
• Power supply and multimeter usage
• Soldering iron and hot air gun handling
• Use of magnifying lamp/microscope

3. Phone Hardware Overview

• Understanding components: PCB, LCD, battery, speaker, mic, camera
• Identifying internal parts of common smartphones

4. Disassembly and Reassembly

• Step-by-step teardown of popular models
• Best practices for safe disassembly
• Screen replacement, battery replacement, flex cable replacement

5. Basic Troubleshooting

• Dead phone issues
• Not charging problems
• Audio issues (mic/speaker)
• Display and touch problems

Level 2: Intermediate Mobile Phone Repair

Duration: 6–8 weeks
Objective: Strengthen diagnostic and software troubleshooting skills.

1. Circuit Diagram and Block Diagram Reading

• Understanding schematic diagrams
• Power section, charging section, network section

2. Multimeter Testing Techniques

• Voltage and continuity checks
• Component testing: resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors

3. Software Repair and Flashing

• Android flashing tools (SP Flash Tool, Odin, QFIL, etc.)
• ROM types and firmware installation
• FRP removal, bootloader unlock

4. Unlocking and Formatting

• Pattern/password removal tools
• IMEI issues and repairs
• Use of boxes/dongles (Miracle Box, UMT, Chimera, etc.)

5. Common Hardware Issues and Fixes

• Power button and volume key repairs
• Camera and sensor issues
• Battery draining and overheating problems

 Level 3: Advanced Mobile Phone Repair

Duration: 8–12 weeks
Objective: Master chip-level repair and advanced troubleshooting.

1. Advanced Soldering and Micro soldering

• SMD rework techniques
• Jumper wire techniques
• IC reballing and replacement

2. Chip-Level Diagnostics

• CPU, RAM, ROM, PMIC understanding
• Power-on issues diagnosis
• Short circuit detection and repair

3. Advanced Software Tools

• JTAG and ISP programming
• Data recovery techniques
• Network unlocking (SIM lock, carrier lock)

4. Liquid Damage Repair

• Identifying and cleaning corrosion
• Circuit tracing and damage assessment

5. Business and Professional Skills

• Setting up a phone repair shop
• Customer service and pricing strategies
• Inventory and spare parts sourcing
